2020 Dems Tempt Voters with Plans to Wreck Economy, Plunge US into New Dark Age

Border wallThe remaining 2020 Democrat candidates have an unenviable task. They have to run for election against an incumbent who has made life for all Americans better, by nearly every single metric. Trump looks like a nearly unstoppable force when you look at his amazing track record.

“I don’t know about you, but I’m sick and tired of all these jobs and prosperity” doesn’t seem to be a winning campaign message, but that’s the strategy most of them are stuck with.

At the same time, I can’t help but feel nervous about 2020. Will next year finally be the year that Americans are permanently immigrated out of our own political future?

Nearly every social problem in America is directly related to mass immigration. Donald Trump seems to instinctually know this, but every Democrat wants to try to fix all of our problems with more mass immigration. It won’t work. It can’t work. A lot of the “big picture” problems in America would start to clear up on their own if we simply enforce existing immigration laws and impose a moratorium for a few years on more “legal” immigration.

Look at every social ill in America through one lens: Will this problem get better, or worse, due to mass immigration?

How about mass shootings? The Democrats’ solution to this social ill is to take away your guns. They’re not kidding around this time, either. They’re being very open about it. They want confiscations, gun buy-backs, a government registry, “smart” guns that no one can use, the whole nine yards.

They think they’ll reduce mass shootings if they can keep you from exercising your Second Amendment rights. Yet there’s no evidence that any of these actions would prevent gun violence. Would more immigration make this problem better or worse?

Much worse, if we’re going to be honest about it. First- and second-generation immigrants account for about half of all mass shootings in America. That’s an inarguable fact. If you want to solve the mass shooting issue, more immigration is not an answer.

How about overcrowded, failing schools? Education officials sit around scratching their heads and demanding more money. Kamala Harris wants to bus kids to implement more “diversity” in schools – a program that was universally hated when we tried it in the past.

Gosh, it’s a big freakin’ mystery why the schools are a train wreck! Maybe we should ask one of the 17 different foreign language translators crammed into every single classroom if they have an opinion on the matter.

How about the lack of jobs and opportunity? Does that get better or worse for young Americans if we continue allowing tons of zero-skills immigrants in? When the dignity of work is available for Americans, surprising things happen. They do wacky things like get married, have children, and propel the economy forward because they can afford to do it. It’s something they all want to do. Jobs and opportunity also have a weird effect of making young people avoid dumb choices, such as joining a gang or turning to drugs or alcohol.

An entry-level job as a teenager helps kids to become more responsible and grow up faster. Working for someone who’s not your mom or dad has that effect on you. Every single one of those little Antifa boys attacking people in the streets would have taken a different path in life, if only he had ever had a job flipping burgers, changing an irrigation line, or hauling 75-pound bundles of shingles up a ladder for a roofer.

But they haven’t had that experience. They’ve never worked a day in their lives, because low-wage immigrants have absorbed so many entry-level jobs. They’re coming out of college without any of the basic skills most of us used to get in that “first job.”

Want the men in America to “man up” and grow up? Cut off the immigration spigot so employers will hire them again.

How about the American dream of home ownership? Millennials, by an extremely wide margin, now believe that they will never be able to save up enough for a down payment on a home. This is a major problem. Prior to the passage of the 1965 Immigration Act, the median price for a home in America was about $15,000. By the year 2000, the median home price was $119,600. In 2020, the median home price will top $200,000.

Are houses in America twice as good as they were 20 years ago? Of course not. Something else changed the marketplace. As I noted in a recent article, the federal government is now allowing approximately 200,000 legal and illegal immigrants to settle in the US every month. Meanwhile, the construction industry builds 1,200 new housing units every month at maximum capacity. America is full. We have more people than we do housing units.

As mass immigration drives American wages down, it also drives the cost of housing up. A down payment on a home has almost doubled in the last 20 years. The sole thing driving this crisis – and it is a crisis – is mass immigration. It’s also directly rated to the explosion of homeless Americans living on the streets.

Kamala Harris and Elizabeth Warren have offered dueling proposals to fix this housing crisis: Just repeat what George W. Bush did to cause the 2008 housing crash! They’re proposing massive, multi-billion-dollar programs to make the down payments on homes for minorities with bad credit.

Bush forced the banks to issue mortgage loans to low-income families, even though the banks knew they’d never be able to keep up with the payments. Voila! The 2008 housing meltdown was so bad that America didn’t start to recover from it until we put Trump in office.

Democrats are so desperately flailing as we head into 2020 that they’re proposing George W. Bush’s worst ideas to try to peel off voters. And to think, they were calling Bush “Literally Hitler” just a few years ago!

The contrast between President Trump and the 2020 contenders couldn’t be clearer on the most important issue of our time. Trump wants to slow the bleeding and the Democrats want to rip the wound open with even more mass immigration. The American people are behind President Trump.

But what if we’ve been voted out of power in our own nation, and just don’t know it yet? America is the greatest nation on earth, by far, but we’re running out of time to save it.
